MORE INFORMATION ABOUT EBOOKS AND HOW TO ORDER

What is Smashwords?

Smashwords is a publisher and distributor of e-books. Currently they distribute to Barnes and Noble, Apple, Sony, Kobo and Diesel. You may purchase directly from these retailers if you prefer. (Retailer prices may differ.)

To purchase from Smashwords, simply register for a free account. In your account you will have an online library where you can access your books in various formats. Credit card information is secure. After you purchase a book, you'll receive an email confirmation. Then click on the Library link, scroll down to Purchased Books, and click on the book you want to read. You can then download it to whichever e-book format you choose, including the option of reading it online using HTML or JavaScript readers. It's a simple, walk-through process. You will find answers to any questions you might have on the Smashwords website.

What is an e-book?

E-books are electronic books that can be read on your computer screen or downloaded to other reading devices, such as Kindle, Nook, Sony Reader, etc.

When you click a book on my BOOKS page, you will be able to purchase it from my distributor, Smashwords, or you may purchase it directly from any of several online retailers. Kindle offers free reading Apps, including iPhone, Mac, BlackBerry and iPad. You may also download directly to your Windows PC, with no Kindle required, on the Kindle for PC application.

If you purchase from Smashwords, you will likewise have several reading devices to choose from. And you will have the option to download a PDF or RTF version directly to your computer or laptop.
